The Crofter's Rights, Bristol
Funk Up The Severn
Third Floor Productions presents an evening of 4 funky fresh live acts hailing from two creative towns along the River Severn, Bewdley and Bristol. We begin our journey at Bewdley where headline band Cantaloop reside. The brotherhood have been touring for years alongside the likes of De La Soul, The Fun Lovin' Criminals and Gina Washington and bring their unique funky blend and serious stage presence wherever they go.
Further downstream is the mighty DJ Cheeba, our headline DJ, who is known for carving his own cut and paste style of turntablism, captivating audiences world wide. You can expect a high paced trip through styles made to make you dance, think and smile. More than just a DJ, Cheeba is a audio visual artist known for pushing technology and blowing minds.
Supporting the two headliners we have an emerging band from Bristol, Macaco Project, with their individual Neo-Soul groove, and kicking off the evening is another new Bristol based band in the form of Red Toona.
To celebrate the creativity along the River Severn and the Crofters Rights commitment to real beers, we are shipping down the Bewdley Brewery's Worcestershire Way! It is an outstandingly tasty session beer and is also enjoyed by those not usually a fan of ales. Grab yourself a £4 advanced ticket to land yourself a free* pint of it as soon as you get to the bar.
