‘Back To Biba’ (Swinging London) VJ Mix

The piece combines music from the era, mixed to archive film footage of Biba and the culture that surrounded the brand, its founder Barbara Hulanicki, scenes from London and the infamous Carnaby Street at that time. It’s a multi-media playlist to get you in the mood for Biba’s 50th Anniversary, and an opportunity for those who experienced it first hand, as well as new fans to take a nostalgic trip ‘Back to Biba’.

On his ‘Back to Biba’ set for Farfetch, he says: ‘London in the 1960’s was a pivotal time for music, culture and fashion and I’ve tried to encapsulate all of this into the mix. The project progresses with many reference points crossing the audio and visual samples with various artists and an edit style inspired by the movie ‘Woodstock’, which will hopefully reach a fresh audience in 2014.’
