St Georges
Following Academy-nominated composer Haushcka’s special filmic performance on Thu 11 April, join DJ Cheeba for a free after-show in St George’s Bristol's sublime new Glass studio and Bar featuring a live audio visual installation on the theme of minimalism.
Using St George’s stunning new architectural features, Cheeba will be projection-mapping synchronised minimalist artwork onto the inside space to accompany music and audio inspired by iconic minimalist composer, Steve Reich.
Moving through Reich’s own works and tracks that have sampled and been inspired by him, expect a sonic journey through looping, soundscapes and unusual music production concepts. With the addition of projection mapped images and video, this musical adventure promises to blur the lines between art installation and rave.
